THE TANZANIA NEW YEAR NATIONAL OVERNIGHT PRAYER [popularly known by the Swahili title: MKESHA MKUBWA KITAIFA – DUA MAALUM] is an annual national prayer revival event organized by various churches in Tanzania, under the umbrella and coordination of Tanzania Fellowship of Churches [TFC], for the sole purpose of coming together as a nation to pray to
the Almighty God for the nation of Tanzania.
We do believe that prayer is one of the most powerful tools we have at our disposal. Amazing things can happen when people come into agreement. It’s a principle directly from God’s Word, Matthew 18:19 “…if two of you agree on earth about anything they ask, it will be done for them by My Father in heaven.” [NKJV]
The whole purpose of the Overnight Prayer is to bring together the citizens, well wishers and friends of Tanzania, to stand together and pray that God may heal this land.
2 Chronicles 7:14 says “If My people who are called by my name will humble themselves, and pray and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways, then l will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin and heal their land.” [NKJV]
Come join us and together let’s cry out to God for Tanzania!
